Safina Beach Bar and grill  is known for its mouth-watering seafood mixed grill and the fresh fruit cocktails. It is located along Jacaranda road, Watamu. It offers exquisite African cuisine, seafood and a wonderful Barbeque. The food is fresh and served with high quality. 

The seafood mixed grill is a mixture of lobster, calamari and octopus, this is served with side dish of your choice like chips, rice or mashed corn meal(Ugali).

The Choma Platter has also caught the taste buds of many , this is a mixture of grilled beef and chicken,,also served with a side dish. They also have vegetarian-friendly and gluten-free options.

They have a variety of drinks, fresh juice, soft drinks, beers and cocktails. They make both Kenyan style cocktails and prime cocktails,, It has a proud reputation for making the best cocktails especially the maracuja/passion mojito which we would highly recommend. If you’re budget conscious then they have happy hour from 17:00-19:00 every day.

You are also never going to miss a “Fresh fruits dessert platter” moment.

After your stomach has been filled, your eyes might need to be refreshed too with a gorgeous view of the aqua blue Indian ocean. The beach is isolated and private and you are also provided with sunbeds and swing beds, you could drink a cocktail waiting for the high tide. 

Activities  like kite surfing, swimming are done at the beach. It is a place I return to time and again! Sometimes I secretly wish I could make Safina Beach Bar and Grill my home.
